Lauren Jackson '26 Recruiting Profile

recently I've started looking to the future a lot more and deciding what I want my life to look like going forward. the main thing I see when I look to the future is basketball. I would like to go into engineering and potentially work on rocketships and airplanes when I grow up. but before I can do anything like that I would like to go to college. basketball has always been something that has kept me me focused ever since I started playing in my 8th grade season. basketball has always been my motivation for my schooling, I have to keep my grades up if I want to play and I have to put in effort and commitment if I want to be good. I love playing with a team and having people to support me and I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when I meet my goals and get better at the sport.

overall I would love to play basketball more in the future to help keep my focus and motivation and to continue doing what I love. basketball has become one of my favorite things ever.
