I have played basketball since I was eight years old. I always looked up to the collegiate level players and hoped to be one of the players that could be a great influence on younger athletes. I aspire to continue growing in the game of basketball because this sport has already helped me to develop self-discipline and improved skills. Additionally, I would like to help my teammates reach their potential as well as my own. I am a team leader through working well with others, encouragement of teammates, and helping younger players learn plays and new skills. I am versatile and I have had experience in all positions.
In school, I work hard to maintain a high GPA. I have taken dual credit college classes and I will be taking more to get a good start on my chosen career.
I strive to be a hard working person on and off the court. I would like to attend a college where I can excel in class and also on the court. I am open for new ideas and skills to learn. My determination and versatility in sports as well as in school is what makes me different from others.
Overall, I want to find the right college match that can help me grow in basketball skills and knowledge of the game, in addition to preparing me for my future career. I hope to build new friendships within my team, who will become lifetime friends.
