- To whom it may concern: It is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Jayden Stofer. As her club basketball coach, I have had the pleasure of watching her grow and mature on and off the court over the last four years. Jayden is one of my favorite people, her caring heart, vibrant spirit and determination set her apart from her peers. Jayden is extremely self-motivated. She will be the first to ask for more reps and more time in the gym. She works hard and is one of the most coachable athletes I have known. She soaks in everything you say and applies it on the court. She uses the tools in individual workouts and puts them to use in game situations. Not only is Jayden a hard worker, but she is also an amazing teammate. She is the first to cheer on her teammates when they succeed but also pick them up when they are down. She leads by example by her hard work and determination but is also a great vocal leader on the court communicating with her teammates and brining positivity each day. One great part of club sports is playing with others from different schools. Jayden is a friend to all and will encourage and root for her club teammates even if they are opponents in their school seasons. From a coach’s perspective, Jayden is one of my favorite athletes I have ever coached. She is a fierce competitor, who plays with passion and heart. Jayden leads by example and knows the right things to say to motivate her teammates. She will do whatever is asked of her and is completely unselfish. She always focuses on the team and is a great example of what a good teammate should be. When it’s game time, she’s locked in and ready to play but off the court has a fun-loving spirit that brings a smile to everyone’s face. Jayden is an incredible young lady with unlimited potential. She is a genuinely caring individual who is determined to succeed on and off the court. I feel very fortunate to know her and I know she would be a great contributor at the next level.
