As a high school Freshman, I was thrilled to be selected to play on my varsity basketball team. Since then I have faced many wins, losses, injuries, and made lasting relationships with the members of my team. Through all of this, I learned that I am strong, determined, and capable of tackling any hardships that may present itself.
My team and I demonstrated these qualities last season as we made it to the state championship and took 4th place in the state, all of this just after our Head Coach, Coach Dosch, passed away from lung cancer.
I’m continuing to improve my skills and I’ve been working the offseason to become the player that I know I can be. I am currently playing with a personal basketball coach and club team and focusing on bettering the aspects of my game that need improvement so that next year I can help my team as we head for state once again!
