Karly Wittenbauer '22 Recruiting Profile

Getting the opportunity to play Varsity my freshmen year was eye-opening; I was exposed to high-intensity basketball on a daily basis, and learned to quickly adjust my play style to correspond with those around me. I was fortunate enough to be able to start in a significant amount of games as a result of my effort and willingness to go above and beyond every practice. The highlight of my freshmen year, however, was winning the Red Division Championship for the first time in fourteen years for our school. Knowing that all of the long hours we put in and my own individual work outside of practice had all led to such a feat was an amazing feeling.

I'm excited for the next three years ahead of me, and I hope to make an even bigger impact for my team in the upcoming years. I look forward to eventually finding a college that will be the best fit athletically and academically for me. Having made Varsity as a freshmen, and getting to start, I know I have the work ethic and determination to positively affect your program. I've been a natural leader all my life, and I have the ability to take over during crunch time for your team!
