Mya Hernandez '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mya Hernandez,and I am a student-athlete at St. John's Prep in Astoria, Class of 2025. I would like to express my strong interest in playing basketball at a Collegiate level. I played my Spring/Summer 2024 AAU season with the 17U exodus NYC Elite team. I am currently getting ready for my HS season at St. Johns Prep in Astoria, NY. Basketball has been a passion of mine, and I have worked hard to develop my skills on the court. My goal is to play College basketball along with high academics. I am looking to be a  part of a program that offers the opportunity for me to continue to grow as a player and reach my full potential. I am an academic student-athlete with a 3.8 GPA. I am an honor roll student. I believe that my skills and abilities on and off the court make me a well rounded individual.and I am a scholarship worthy candidate. I am a Point Guard with strong ball-handling, shooting, and defensive skills. I am also a team player who is willing to work hard.
