Rayanah Sanabria '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Rayanah Sanabria, class of 2026 of Newtown High School. My dreams are to make it to division 1 and hopefully make it to the Wnba. Currently I am a high school sophomore with an average of 89%. I have been playing basketball for 4 years now. I was recently moved from point guard to shooting guard for the Newtown Lady Pioneers, and while my scoring has dropped all of my other stats have went up. I have played on a varsity team since freshman year, and I go to basketball training whenever I can to better myself. In my first year of varsity, I finished my season averaging 6 points per game with 82 points overall and now I average double that.  I would be a great candidate for your team because no matter what is going on I stay positive and try to keep my peers positive as well. We recently finished my junior season with a tough loss but next year we are hoping to rebuild for a better chance in playoffs.
