Leah Thompson '24 Recruiting Profile

I would like to pursue a degree in chemistry  and eventually forensic criminalistics. D2 or D3 basketball would be an ideal fit for me. I have been a basketball player since I was 8 and have played on ICC Truth, Rochester Premier and the Buffalo Titan's AAU teams. I was moved to the Hilton Varsity basketball team as an 8th grader and have started since 9th grade. I am a hard worker and a consistent player. I believe every player on the court should have opportunities to touch the ball and that working together as a team is crucial for winning. I have done a lot personal training and am very strong and physically fit. I am a well-rounded student athlete and enjoy not only playing sports but spectating as well. I also play Varsity Field Hockey. I have taken many International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement courses and prefer the challenge of difficult classes. Recently I was chosen for induction into the National Honor Society. I also enjoy volunteering for our Unified Basketball program and supporting students with disabilities.
