The first trait which makes an athlete would be determination. I started playing basketball when I was in Kindergarten, for the local recreation center and continue this day on my high school team. My mother has taught me an amazing work ethic which proves that I will always work hard, reach for my goals and to take nothing for granted.
When I go off to college my future careers would include Occupational Therapist, Nurse Practitioner or Mechanical Engineer.
What makes me different from other recruits is that I can multitask between accelerated school classes, after-school clubs, volunteering and being involved in athletics. As of today, I am currently enrolled in many advanced classes and AP classes as well. The school work that I have, the clubs I am involved in, my high school athletics and volunteer work shows that I know how to keep a balanced relationship with school and extracurricular activities.
Aside from the other recruits I never had the opportunity to be apart of an AAU team. I was although involved CYO basketball, which was a small Catholic team that I was on since the age of 7. Being a part of the High School team and CYO team means I have dedication/ determination and love for the game.
I thank you for taking the time in reading my profile.
