Caiden Crego '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caiden Crego and I am a sophomore at Lyons High School. I am a three sport varsity athlete with a passion for basketball. I have always loved the game of basketball, starting at age three. I am a determined player and strive to better myself constantly. One of my goals is to play the game of basketball and work hard everyday to achieve my dream of playing college basketball. I want to go to a school that will challenge me both academically and on the court. I'd like to play at a high level, but am open to all possibilities. Coaches describe me as a leader, showing examples of teamwork, sportsmanship and determination to achieve my goals of being the best player I can possibly be. What makes me different from other players is my positivity, my work ethic and passion on defense. I am a teammate that cheers on others and I play my hardest no matter what the score board says.

Academically, I am a student who pushes myself to my full potential. I have always had a deep love for learning and seek to better myself. Grades are important to me and every quarter of the school year, a goal of mine is to increase my average. I participate in National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, chorus and musicals.

Between basketball and school, my schedule is always full. The reason why I dedicate so much of my time is so I can accomplish my goals to go to a great college, major in education and continue to play the game I love “basketball”.
