Sports have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether on the court or the field, the competitive spirit of sports and the thrill of running have always excited me. The speed and required skill of basketball quickly made it my favorite sport. My goal is to play as competitively as I can for as long as I can.
Due to my physical strength, size, and quickness, I have always excelled in defense, rebounds and my inside game. I am also fortunate to have a keen court sense which is demonstrated in my proficient passing and successful assists. I always strive to be a team player and supportive of my teammates which has helped me to earn their respect.
Off the court I am active in the Women's Empowerment Club as well as the Community Care Club, which addresses youth emotional and social issues in our community. I also enjoy photography and music. I play acoustic guitar and play in a local band, The Bandanas.
I am a hard worker, self-motivated and enjoy staying busy. Having an active athletic schedule has taught me to manage my time. I currently maintain a 3.7 GPA.
I very much look forward to my college experience. I am excited about the challenge of college level basketball as well as college level learning. I am confident I will find the right school.
