I am very excited to look at this next stage in my academic and athletic career. I have been a part of a "team" for as long as I can remember, from being a ball girl on the sidelines at my father's practices to helping fill water bottles at basketball games while he coached. Being a part of that atmosphere has fostered a sense of growth and passion in sports that I want to see continue at the next level. In the three sports I play, I have been moved around to many different positions. As a young athlete being raised by a coach, I found it essential to have a willingness to play anywhere and be able to do anything that was asked of me. I have always loved competing, whether it was in the classroom or on the court/field. A lot of people who know me will say that I don't like to lose and that is very true, however I can always learn from the losses and mistakes to help me grow. Something that is very important to me is being a good teammate. Being a captain during my freshman year allowed me to be a positive leader during games and practices. Due to the size of our school everyone usually plays every sport. This made it easier to create relationships with my teammates. Again I am very excited to go on this journey to the next level.
