Dear Coaches,
My name is Madeline Salinardi. You can call me Maddy. My goal is to play collegiate basketball at the highest level and at the best academic institution possible. I strive to work hard on the basketball court and in the classroom as well. My athletic career so far has helped me build a strong work ethic and develop my character both on and off the court. I believe I have demonstrated leadership qualities on the teams I have played on in high school and during the travel season. My style is to lead by my play on the court (in games and in practice) but I will also not be afraid to speak up on the court or in the huddle when necessary. I enjoy playing in big game environments and against the best teams in our league. While my position is between guard and forward, I enjoy being a team player, contributing on both the offensive and defensive end. I enjoy setting my teammates up for baskets, playing defense and rebounding. This summer I will continue working on my playmaking, dribbling, shooting and conditioning skills. I look forward to playing with girls that take the game as serious as I do. My ongoing goal is to keep improving as a player and meeting coaches that can bring out the best in me.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and I look forward to hearing from you.
Madeline "Maddy" Salinardi
