My name is Dominick Marinelli. I am a scholar student with a 3.9 GPA and I'm currently attending the Tottenville High School Science and Math Institute. I'm 5'10 and weigh 155 pounds. My primary position is pitching with outfielder being my secondary position. I have strong work ethics because I'm disciplined, open minded and coachable. I not only work on the physical aspects of the game but I work on the mental aspect as well. I was always told, that failure makes you stronger. I grew the most when I started to prepare for it, accept it, challenge it and most of all learn from it. Its what makes me humble and confident. I have grown as an athlete and have developed the ability to respond to adversity. I believe that I have the ability, enthusiasm, passion, and talent to succeed as a student and an athlete. My goal is to have the opportunity to play college baseball and to pursue a degree in Engineering. I am looking for a College or University that has a strong academic program as well as a competitive athletic program. I am determined to be successful in whatever life hands me because I never give less than 100%. I appreciate you taking the time to review my personal statement. Thank You.
