Growing up I tried every sport available to me and the only one to ever stick was basketball. It has been a huge part of my life since I started in 5th grade and helped me through some of my most difficult times. Playing in college while also pursuing a career in biology is of the utmost importance to me. I am the first daughter, granddaughter, and niece on both sides of my family which has instilled a huge competitive side in me. This side of me causes me to go to great lengths to get the results I want, which shows in my grades, how I play, and my training, and to be someone for my younger sister, cousins and the kids I help coach to look up to. These values often carry over when it comes to my team. Whether it’s playing a different position or making sure they have what they need when getting ready for a game, I would do anything for my team to help them succeed while also bettering myself. I have often been told I am like a sponge when it comes to learning new things and very coachable. I strive to be the best version of myself on and off the court and will put in whatever work I need to to achieve that.
