Thank you for taking the time to viewing my profile. My name is Ava Black and I am in the 2025 class at Williamsville North High School in Buffalo, New York. I am in my Junior year varsity basketball season. My Freshman year I started on Junior Varsity at power forward and my sophomore year I started at center. I was the team captain my freshman and sophomore year and I love this role because I get the chance to connect with all my teammates and help them whenever they needed it. I train in the off season and in season with my trainer. Over the summer I practice with my high school coach to improve my skills. Others would describe me as hard-working, dedicated, and coach-able. I play the best I can every game and I help my teammates during the games when they need it. I usually stay in the paint but I'm a very flexible and versatile player and can adjust to wherever you need me to play. Overall in school I have around a GPA of 3.5/4.0. I take school very seriously and I try to excel in every class I take. I was just recently recommended for national honors society, which I will be partaking in. I always try to take the extra time to understand something more or do extra work so I can thoroughly understand the material. My goal other than playing college basketball is to excel in school and obtain a degree. I have not yet decided what I would like to do in the future but I am still thinking about it. I have what it takes academically and physically to be on and help lead your team! I look forward to talking with you in the near future, thank you for your time.
