My name is Destiny Richardson, I am a part of the class of 2024. I recently transferred over the summer of 2023 back to North Carolina. I previously attended Kadena High School which is a DODEA school on a military base in Okinawa, Japan. I will now be attending Apex High School, in Apex North Carolina. I find my situation of transferring from overseas to get recruited very difficult, but yet very achievable as long as I keep giving my all and my head stays up. Personally, I consider my style of play is based on attacking the basket and creating open opportunities and shots for my teammates. Defense is my biggest strength, I am very solid and quick with my hands and always communicating. I am a 5'9 shooting guard and small forward, currently holding a 3.93 GPA, and look forward to being a positive addition to any team’s family. I am very passionate about the game of basketball and have wrote a book during the pandemic for other student-athletes, called "Basketball Head: Tips and Trick for Successful Student-Athletes", and I just published my latest book "Girls can Fly too"
