Karlie Robinson '24 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a love and passion of mine since before I could walk. I started playing youth basketball in the first grade and then that grew into playing travel ball by the 5th grade. Through the years as I've gotten older, this sport has become a huge part of my life, and I would love to have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level in the future. I feel that I am able to learn and pick up things quickly.  I thrive on  constructive criticism as that’s how I was raised.  I pride myself on having good sportsmanship on and off the court. Growing up, I was taught the value of defense, and it has since become one of my favorite aspects of the game. Academics has always played a significant role in my life as I strive to be the top of my class year after year. Basketball has taught me to always put forth my best effort and leave it all out on the floor, and as we all know this is all that a coach expects from us.  These values were taught to me at an early age and have excelled me in ways that I never thought was possible.  Although the hard work and commitment that it takes isn’t always easy, it has shaped me into the girl I am today, which accounts for all of my academic achievements. As I move forward with my life I hope to keep striving to become better on and off the court and make an impact on the future that is ahead of me.
