Kherry Cohea '19 Recruiting Profile

Team focused for team success. I believe in supporting my teammates and celebrating individual success along with team success. I am not a big "stat stuffer." I pride myself on being the "glue" on my team by bringing a calm presence when I'm on the court, seeing the floor extremely well leading to strong, accurate passes and assists. I handle the ball well and I am a great perimeter shooter. Training since I was 9 has allowed me to be very coachable and given me strengths on the court including strong basketball IQ, the ability to handle the ball under pressure, provide solid defense when needed and the ability to shoot from anywhere on the court. I have a strong support system from my family, teammates and coaches and I believe in returning that support back to my team. I am an asset to my team in any environment and I am excited to continue my training into my college years. I have a strong desire to be challenged in everything I do. I push myself academically with Honors and AP courses and I am currently working towards obtaining my private pilot's license. I am looking for a school where I can be challenged both on the court and off the court. I am excited to pursue my career path in Aviation and Criminal Justice while pursuing my passion for basketball.
