Noor Rana '25 Recruiting Profile

As a varsity basketball player with collegiate aspirations, I am excited to share my achievements and aspirations with you. I have been playing basketball since the third grade and have been on an AAU team for six seasons. As a shooting guard/point guard, I was named to All-Conference for the 2022-23 season and named Player of the Game in the game against Princeton this season, and I am only in my first year of playing varsity basketball. When I am not on the court, I serve on my school's Student Athletic Council.

Apart from athletics, academics have always been a priority for me, and I currently have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, and by graduation, my weighted GPA should be between a 4.3-4.5. Despite having enough credits to have graduated two years early, I chose to delay my graduation so that I could gain additional basketball experience at the high school level and complete college classes as a dually- enrolled student at Wake Tech Community College.  Upon graduating from high school in May 2025, I will have completed between 35-40 college credits, which I plan to use towards fulfilling the requirements for a major in Sports Management.

Basketball is not just a game for me; it is a way of life. I live and breathe basketball, and I am constantly training and watching game film to improve my skill set. If given the opportunity, I would bring a serious dedication to the sport and my team, a coachable mindset, and an unwavering desire to improve my game and benefit the team. Additionally, I have an outstanding work ethic and an awesome sense of humor that can keep the team spirit high.

As a recruit, I am looking for the complete package - an opportunity to complete my desired coursework in my chosen major while playing basketball at the collegiate level. I believe that my athletic and academic achievements, coupled with my dedication and passion for the game, make me a strong candidate for your team.
