My name is Farrah Richardson and I am a senior at West Lincoln High School. I have played volleyball, basketball and softball all four years where I served as Captain for the Volleyball and Basketball teams. I am an honor roll student with a 3.8 GPA and member of the National Honor Society. I have volunteered with the Lady Rebels basketball camp for the past two years as a leader. This year our softball team collected canned food items for Christian Ministry, we delivered the items and helped to distribute them. I have also helped with Brookes Round-up, a fun and free event for children and adults with special needs and disabilities.
After graduating, I plan on attending a four year college or a community college. The three colleges that I am interested in right now are; Appalachian State University, Gardner Webb University, and Catawba Valley Community College. I have been accepted to all three. I am still narrowing down my dream career as well, but as of right now I am deciding between, Kindergarten Teacher, and Elementary Education. I have been interested in becoming a teacher. I have alway loved to be around children. I hope to one day become an elementary teacher, so I can help children to strive to be the very best version of themselves and instill all I have learned in my experiences.
It takes hard work and dedication, on and off the court . These are two qualities that I feel describe me the most.
Thank you for your time.
