Personal Statement

My name is Sarah "Neeley" Campbell and I have a passion for the game of Basketball. My dream is to continue my basketball career after high school. I am currently a Freshman and had the privilege to get to start for our Varsity Team this past season. It was definitely a transition from Middle School, but my off-season competition during travel has helped to ease the transition. We had a positive season, doubling our win total from the year before and finishing 3rd in a very tough conference. We made the North Carolina High School playoffs for the first time in 10 years. I am proud to be a part of an up-and-coming Women's Basketball Program at Maiden High School. I am also competitive in the classroom as well. I am currently #1 in my freshman class of over 350 students. My Goals are to lead our Women's Basketball Program to a Conference Championship in over 20 years and finish as #1 in my class as a Senior.

I was invited to play with PEAK organization, after a strong camp performance over the summer. Coach Barry is absolutely awesome. Unfortunately once she left to coach at Davidson University, we decided to compete with a program closer to home.

The Catawba Titans made it all the way to the Semi-finals, but we lost the the Lady Pheonix who ended up winning the whole tournament. It was definitely some intense competition.
