Personal Statement

I am a very dedicated and hard working student athlete. I take as many honors and AP courses that are offered and I have maintained all A's so far in HS.  I have played many sports includeding ice hockey, softball, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse and of course Basketball. In HS I have narrowed my sports down to  while a 9th grader to Varsity Basketball and Varsity Lacrosse. My passion is Basketball and have played organized BB since 2nd grade. I have been playing AAU Basketball since 5th grade, and have been trained personally in basketball since 6th grade.  I also help younger kids during their basketball training sessions.

I pride myself on being an excellent perimeter shooter, ball handler and facilitator.

My Sophomore season at Athens Drive HS I averaged 18pts/g, 3 assists, 3steals.  I was named All Conference.  I finished the season #1 in the State of NC Class4A in 3pointers made with 73.  My Freshman season I started every game for my HS Varsity BB Team & averaged 14.5 pts/g, 3 assists, 3 steals. My current GPA is 4.35 & I’m taking the maximum AP courses allowed.

If you are looking for a student athlete who loves basketball and who will not be out worked or out hustled, then I would be a candidate to be on your team. I train on my own every day, and I love to watch film daily. I feel this helps me to obtain a high BB IQ. I am a very good shooter, including from 3 point range, I see the floor very well and try and get my teammates involved. I do not tire easily and pride myself on playing excellent defense. I am an extension of the coach on the floor. I would like to be a PG or SG, whatever the team needs. Not only do I want to play BB collegiately, but I also want to excel in academics and further my education so that I can have a successful and happy career after college. It would be an honor for me to be fortunate enough to play basketball collegiately.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
