I have been passionate about playing the game of basketball since the age of 5 years old. I have been blessed to play in the Christian athletic league, middle school and on the varsity level since my freshman year of high school. Everything about it has been amazing. The skills and techniques that I am developing continue to make me a better player on and off the court. During my sophomore basketball season, our team, which was ranked 27th in the state, was defeated by the 6th ranked team by 2 points at the buzzer. This was devastating as we played hard and held a 10 plus point lead in 3 out of the 4 quarters. This has given me the mindset that I should always have the will to prepare to win. I'll do whatever it takes to get us a win. My future goals and aspirations are to be successful academically and continue my growth and development in basketball. My ultimate goal is to obtain academic recognition and be selected to contribute to a team on the collegiate level. This combination will definitely make me an awesome student-athlete. I consider myself a good candidate for any team because I am coachable, determined, mentally strong, a team player and I love the game. These reasons make me unique from other players as well as I do them all while having fun and enjoying every game like it's my last.
