Hello,
My name is Bernadette Maranan. I have been playing organized basketball since grade 4 for very competitive rep teams such as Hamilton Transway (grade 4-7), Guelph Jr Gryphons (grade 8), and most recently Blessed Sacrament for Juel Prep. I am an all-around basketball player who is coachable to execute plays offensively, be a scorer (average 10 points per game), I am a team player (average 7 assists per game), and reliable on defense (average 5 rebounds per game). I work hard to help my team win games by being a vocal leader and leading by example. Academically, I strive to achieve great marks. I have an 87% GPA and was on the Honor Roll in grade 9 for Bishop Reding High School in Milton. I'm currently attending St. Thomas Aquinas in the Pre-IB Programme in Oakville. I am a quick learner who loves a challenge. My goal is to play at the next level at a well-recognized university where I can also excel academically, pursuing a degree in Business Technology or Graphic Design. Basketball is my passion. My long-term goal is to continue progressing and improving my basketball skills in order to play in the pro leagues after university.
Thank You,
Bernadette Maranan
