Katarina (Nina) Veljovic '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katarina Veljovic but everyone calls me Nina! I have been playing basketball competitively since I was 4 years old. Every year I focus on sharpening my skills and it shows year over year. I lean on my defensive prowess to fuel my offense. Known for my relentless energy, I'm often compared to Gary Payton for my ability to disrupt the flow of the game with intensity and leadership. I take pride in being vocal on the court, always encouraging my teammates and making my presence felt on both ends. My style of play is aggressive, smart, and unyielding, always looking for ways to challenge the opposition and make an impact. Off the court, I am a dedicated student with a 3.8 GPA. I am excited to begin post secondary education in Biology leading to Pre Dental and eventually Orthodontics. Alongside my family, Basketball is my life, and I am committed to taking my game as far as possible.
