Greetings! My name is Alexia Johnson, a grade 12 basketball athlete from Vaughan, Ontario. My journey thus far is a testament to my work ethic that shines both on the basketball court and academics. The discipline of taking higher AP classes and French Immersion while balancing the student-athlete lifestyle is something that I embrace wholeheartedly. I am aspiring to pursue Health Science, with the ultimate goal of becoming a lawyer. This ambition is fueled by a GPA of approximately 3.5 or a 88% overall average, elevated character letters from my teachers and captivating game tape, all of which accompany this letter.

On the court, my contributions are quantifiable and impactful: averaging 10 points, 3 assists, and 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game. My essence as a team player is complemented by my hustle and defensive prowess, alongside a reliable mid-range jump shot. I believe my dominating presence with my on-ball defense and fast-paced playing style can contribute to your team's overall success. Throughout my career, I have competed with Kia Nurse Elite at tournaments like the Rose Classic, Run for the Roses in Louisville and The Nike Tournament of Champions. I am also a member of Durham Juel and represented my highschool team Thornlea Secondary this past year at OFSAA. My basketball accolades include winning numerous gold medal championships and Most Valuable Basketball Player 2023.
