Evelyn Tang '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Evelyn. I have had the passion for basketball since I was in grade 3. My inspiration has always been my dad since he is athletic like me. My dad and I have many stories of us going on trips and drives to places just play basketball. 

When it comes down to my skills in basketball I am a very strong player. I know how to lead and communicate with my teammates on the court. One skill I have that always stands out whenever I try out for my school's basketball team is that I can run fast. I know how to dribble the ball and can create strong passes. I love to encourage my teammates to do better and help them as well. Though I have never played on basketball team outside of school, I have the knowledge that will still keep me going. 

If we talk about my offense in basketball, I can make good layups and mid range shots. My 3's aren't my best but I am still working on it. Defense wise I know when to make screens and cuts for the team.  I am a hard working player with a strong mindset. I discipline myself to do better and improve by having a routine followed everyday. Even when everything seems hard, I still put in my all and try my hardest because their may not be a next time.
