Personal Statement

As a quiet person,  basketball has become my voice.  Im a very unique player.  Cool, calm, and collected.  A quiet humble leader that leads by example on and off the court.  These characteristics helped me to be captain of my high school team for my sophomore and junior season.  I may not be the loudest most aggressive player, however, I show up, work hard, put in extra work, and contribute in many ways.  My coaches and teammates noticed this and gave me MVP award for my sophomore and junior seasons.

You need a position filled,  I can step up wherever needed giving the team a versatile player.  Even though I have a main position,  I can be put anywhere.  I am a unselfish reliable teammate who sees the whole floor and creates opportunities for everyone on the court as well as for myself.   This also makes me a team player and a play maker.

As a honor roll student, it shows that education is important to me.  I’m prioritized, dedicated, and focused in school which is also applied to my basketball trainings, practices and games.  This was recognized by teachers and coaches as I received the schools scholar athlete award my sophomore year.

Basketball is my passion.  I’ve played since I was 5.  I love watching games and playing in them.  I hope to be able to continue to play at collegiate level and make lifelong friends who share the same passion and love for the game.
