Sports have been my life. In high school, I have been on Varsity for Volley Ball for 1 year, on Varsity for Track and Field for 2 years and on Varsity for Basketball for 4 years. I have been a starter in all games in my high school basketball career and have proven myself to improve with each year.
Basketball: In my Freshman year, I was awarded Rookie of the Year from my school and Honorable Mention in the NW League. In my Sophomore year, I was awarded MVP from my school and voted Third Team and All Defensive Team from the NW League. In my Junior year, I was awarded Athlete of the Year from my school and voted Co-MVP East Division from the NW League and voted First Team from the NW League. In my Senior year, I was Co-Captain of the Varsity basketball team. I was voted from the NW League, First Team and All Defensive Team, I was also awarded NW League 2022 Defensive Player of the Year and 2022 Player of the Year. Our Team also won the NW League Championship award and we won the NW League sportsmanship award. Voted to 1st Team All State- Oregon 2A .
In 2020 I broke 4 records: most offensive rebounds in a season, most offensive rebounds in a game, total rebounds in a season and currently tied for school record in steals in a game (12 steals).
Towards the end of my basketball career in 2022 as of Feb 19th, I had broken 11 school records: Free throws made in a career 211. Total rebounds in a season 275. Most offensive rebounds in a game 10, in a season 130 and in a career 349. Most Steals in a game 14, in a season 218 and in a career 478. Most points in a game 34, in a season 491 and in a career 1145 (most points in Faith Bible high school history)
I decided to try Track and Field in my Junior year and after a few months of training I took 2nd place at Districts for Long Jump at 15ft 7.5in. I went on to State for 4 events and got medals for 3 events: 4X100 relay (8th place), 4X400 relay (6th place) and Long Jump (3rd place) at 15ft 2.25in
I am a multi-talented athlete, not afraid of hard work or challenges.
I multi task between athletics, academics, volunteering and alter serving for my local church.
Academics: In 2018-1019 I received the Superintendent's List and Honor Roll, 2019-2020 I received the Principal's Honor Roll and 2020-2021 I received Honor Roll
I volunteered to help with Portland Impact during 2018-2020 helping families and communities in need.
I alter serve at my local church and received St. Pius X Vocation Committee Alter Server Recognition award in 2019.
I would love to continue Basketball and Track and Field at the next level as I know that I am still developing and have not reached my full potential. I am hoping for a school that I can feel part of a community and be part of a team I can call family. A school I can represent that believes in me and pushes me hard. For basketball my position is a wing/power forward, my strength is defense which leads to my offensive output. For Track, I am just realizing that I am just at the beginning of tapping into this skill. With training and technique I know I can go further. Please reach out to me if you think I would be a good fit for your school and if you are looking for a multi skilled athlete to join your team.
