Hello, my name is Mia Rudalavage. I'm a 5'4” Senior from Eynon, Pennsylvania. I have started on my varsity team as shooting guard since sophomore year and will be point guard in my senior year here at Valley View High School. For the past five years I have played AAU basketball on the JB Hoops team and NEPA Flames. My GPA is a 4.0. I am very set on following the pre-vet track for my education and I would love to play basketball while doing so. I put a lot of time and studying into my school work and just as much time on making myself a better basketball player. I am a member of Christ the King Parish, the Valley View Bio Club, Student Council and Environmental Club. I am also a junior volunteer firefighter for our local Eynon Fire Department and I coach our schools 4,5 & 6th grade girls summer basketball teams. I feel I have a great balance between basketball, school and volunteer work. For the last three years I have been shadowing a local veterinarian during the summer and on days off of school. I will also be shadowing another Vet this summer. I am looking for a school where I can study veterinary medicine and play basketball. I believe my high academics and great work ethics would make me a great candidate for a school who is looking for a hard working leader with an upbeat attitude.
