Brianna Smith '20 Recruiting Profile

 From being apart of the 8th grade east coast regional championship winning team, to being asked to participate in my schools varsity summer league as an 8th grader had given me a huge confidence boost for my upcoming seasons. Having experience to play with seniors & juniors and not even being in high school yet really exposed me to a whole new level of basketball, (with the ups and downs of being a young player), has prepared me and make me 1000% stronger than my age group currently & made me able to compete with upperclassmen. This experience will give me a huge advantage in college because I will be able to be a freshman and be competitive with upperclassmen & this experience gave me a huge mental advantage, by getting better, stronger, and smarter competition thrown at me so early, it has made me ready for my upcoming season as a freshman playing varsity. 

 With having this experience so far, this has given me the qualities of a leader, & made me into a high driven athlete. With these qualities, my current teammates at my age level look up to me & look at me as a leader and get use to playing up at a higher intensity that I set the tone for. Being an athlete who only focuses on basketball, I believe me always being in the gym constantly, my talent, my leadership, and my experience so far with varsity basketball as a freshman,  will definitely shape me to being able to compete at the college level.
