Jenna Del Deo '25 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to  play college basketball and be part of the “team” experience and to one day be a basketball coach. I’m a great candidate for your team because I’m committed to the sport, dedicated, and I LOVE to play basketball!

The character traits that I’m most proud of that makes me different from other recruits is that I’m mentally tough. While I’m my own worst critic, you’ll see me keep my composure if we are down in points or the pressure is on, and I’m  the one who will lift the team up. I make sacrifices like foregoing events because I have practice the next day.

What makes me different from other recruits in athletics is that I’m a smart player. I can see the floor, and I can make quick, smart decisions within a fast paced game. I am versatile and can play  many positions well. I’m a good shooter, am known for my post moves have good footwork, intrinsically motivated, inspirational leader, and a reliable, uplifting teammate.  I have a very strong comfort of contact and I’m very serious, passionate, and teammates look up to me. I set the bar high for expectations but let you know I’m rooting for and believe in you no matter what your level of ability. 

I stand out in academics because I have a perfect grade point average. I study hard, put the work in, and I give my teachers what they ask of me and more. I go above and beyond because I can…My work ethic is very valuable.
