When I was three years old I was holding a basketball. I have been playing since I was old enough to bounce the ball. My Uncle would work with me everyday. I knew at a very young age I wanted to play college ball. I have strong ball handling skills and I am able to read the court well to make great passes. I try to be a team player all the time. I encourage my teammates and give everyone the chance to handle the ball. I work hard on and off the court. I work hard to maintain good grades and a high GPA. I also work hard training in the gym as well as practicing daily. I always put God first and try to keep a positive attitude. I volunteer during the summer with a kids basketball camp. I also volunteer in our community with community meals during Thanksgiving, and Christmas boxes during the holidays.
My dream is to pursue a career in athletic training/exercise science so I can work with athletes. I want to give back the gifts that I have been given. I want to play college basketball while obtaining my degree. I hope to be a great role model to my fellow players and my family.
