My name is Mahli Abdouch. I am in the graduating class of 2024. I go to O’gorman High School, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I am a 5”7 Point Guard. My love for the game started when I began playing in the Big Sioux league in 2nd grade with my school friends. I fell in love and it has stuck with me ever since. Currently, I am very strong at the guard position. My ball handling skills are strong. My shooting is consistent and my shooting range extends to the 3 point line. My speed, agility, and my awareness of the court helps me to be a dominant player on the court. Defense is my favorite part of the game. I love taking the ball away from my competitors and cashing it in on the other side!
I take great pride in not only being a successful athlete but a student as well. Overall this semester I received a 3.8 GPA. In addition, I was on the school's gold honor roll.
I enjoy working with my teammates to reach a common goal, and look forward to my future playing high school ball. I haved played AAU ball for South Dakota Attack for the last 3 years. I hope that my AAU season this year brings new opportunities for me to grow as a player on the court and as a person off the court. I truly love basketball with all that I have and it has shaped me into the person I am today. Playing at a higher level and getting to continue experiencing what I first fell in love with, would be a dream come true. I will continue to work hard so that one day I may be granted that opportunity. I hope that I can fulfill my dream in the future with hard work and dedication.
