Hello. I appreciate your time in considering me for your team. Playing basketball is about “team”. The hours of conditioning, drills, learning plays and practicing is so that when it’s game time, and we step on that court, I know that I’ve done all I can to be at my best for my team. My work ethic, focus and dedication has been frequently called out by my coaches. On the court, my attention is to enable the team, which for me is looking to the best opportunities to make any of us successful in getting an open shot or penetrating to the basket. Sure, I can shoot too, but I’m only 20% of the opportunity on the court. I’m very strong defensively and I tend to apply that to my offense as well. As a player I’d say my best skill is being able to play all-around in any position, both from having the skill set to execute but also the willingness to play any position the coach needs me to play. Off the court, many of my closest friends are my teammates, both from current basketball but also from previous sports like volleyball.
