I’m from Bloomington, Indiana and moved to Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of ten. I started gymnastics at the age of three and continued it for seven years and along that time I also played soccer, softball, and competitive cheer. I started basketball in the fifth grade and fell in love with game and I’ve stuck with it since. I love the aggression and the family aspect of being part of a team. I’ve played my fair share of sports in middle school such as volleyball, swimming, track, cross country, but none of them has given me such a passion as in basketball. Due to transferring schools at the end of my sophomore year and many returning seniors I am playing with junior varsity this year. Playing with junior varsity has allowed me to have additional playing time as a starter.
I’m looking forward to going to college to earn a degree in marine biology or environmental conservation. Being a student athlete has helped me stay focused on my studies. Also being part of a team will help with the adjustment to college life.
I have always been dedicated and determined to be the best I can be. I’m always doing my best during practice and during the game. I’m the one who shows up first to practice and gets my team going with lots of positive energy.
I may be 5’2 but I play as if I’m 6’0!
*put me down low and I’ll box out anyone
