Kiana Henning '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello. I am a military dependent. I have lived in numerous places around the world. I have played AAU basketball in Germany and enjoyed every minute. Even though traveling and seeing new places was fantastic, I am glad that all the constant moving has ended. I now play AAU basketball for SA Hoops Elite in San Antonio, TX. I also play for my HS basketball team at Cornerstone Christian High School (CCS). I am looking forward to graduating in 2024 from CCS. My goals for college are to be successful both academically and athletically. I dream of earning a biology degree (Forensic science/Criminalistics). Leadership is something that I have always worked to continue to develop. During victories, losses, or practices, I encourage my teammates to stay as one unit, no matter the circumstances. My defense, I would say, is the most vital asset of my game. At the same time, my ball handling and court vision complement my defensive play. Academically, I have led by example for others around me and on my teams by maintaining my status as an honor roll student.
