One of my first words was basketball. When I was five I told my family I wanted to be a basketball coach. I’ve been playing basketball since I was in 6th grade when I was put into the foster care system. When things were not going so good I always knew basketball would be there and never change. I took a year off my 8th grade year because I hurt my knee. However I am much better now, and now I play on the varsity basketball team of a small Christian school. my freshman year I have helped my team win the 3rd place TCAL plaque. I may get frustrated with myself but I am willing to work hard even if it means I only focus on basketball such as staying 15 minutes after practice or running an extra lap during our 2 mile runs.
