I have been playing basketball since I was in Pre-K. I became serious about pursuing basketball at the collegiate level in the 5th grade. I am a physical player, constantly working hard to build strength. I am strong in the paint and not afraid to play outside the arc as well. I have a desire to continuously learn new skills. I am a great listener and very coach-able player. I bring energy to every team I am a part of. I am a believer in positivity. I make it a personal goal of mine to ensure every one of my teammates feels included and like a valuable part of the team. I strive to lead my teammates and help them achieve their goals as well. I take pride in my ability to work hard, and push myself to hustle and grow every time I step foot on a court.
Off of the court, I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am a member of the National Honor Society, and active in my school's Student Council. I volunteer in the community and assist in coaching local children's basketball teams.
I want to attend a college that helps me achieve my goals on the court and in the classroom. I understand playing in college is about more than basketball, and hope to learn lessons that will help me succeed later in life.
