My name is Emma Lindsay, and I’m an 8th-grade (Class of 2029) point guard at Live Oak Classical School in Waco, Texas. I also play for Team Southwest Future, an AAU team based in Austin and coached by Jeremy Clark. I’m a traditional point guard who has great court vision, loves playing fast-paced games and pushing the ball down the court. I work hard on my ball handling, Im as strong with my left as I am with my right. Leadership is really important to me, and I work hard to balance basketball with keeping my grades at a 4.0 GPA.
I’ve been lucky to train at great programs like PGC Basketball camp and Baylor’s summer camp. I have done many one on one traingings with Baylor PG Jada Walker. I’ve even been featured in ads for Spaulding and SIQ basketball products! My training focuses on building balance, speed, and strength. I’ve done things like boxing and weight training to help me stay quick on my feet and ready to compete. I’m always looking for ways to get better.
I’m really proud of how much I’ve grown as a player and a person, thanks to the support of my coaches, trainers, mentors, and especially my family. My goal is to keep improving as a leader, and play basketball at the highest levels.
