Sakeena Gordon '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sakeena Gordon and I am a 5"11 junior. Since I can remember I have always had a ball in my hand. My collegiate goals include becoming an Engineer and being a student athlete. What makes me a good candidate for any team I’m on is that I’m coachable, dedicated, and will always give 100%.  What makes me different from other recruits athletically is that I understand what my role is as a part of the team and I am committed to fulfilling it to the best of my ability.  Academically, I understand what it means to be a student athlete, so I am always striving to perform better than I previously did.  What makes my character different from other recruits is that I often listen more than I speak.  I consider myself to be observant, and able to make sound judgement in different situations, and I know how to be a good friend.
