Campbell Woodward '25 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a part of my life since I started playing at 5 years old.  Since a young age, I have developed a love for the game that continues to grow as I get older.  Along with basketball, I play varsity softball and run JV cross country for my school.  I take my academics just as seriously as my sports. I am taking all Honors and AP classes and have been inducted into the National Honor Society.

I made the varsity basketball team at Wimberley High School as a freshman in the 2021-2022 season and was awarded with Academic All-District and 2nd Team All-District.  My freshman year taught me many valuable lessons both on and off the court and lead to a much improved sophomore season.  My sophomore year, I was a starter and a captain.  I was named 1st Team All-District as well as Academic All-District.  Along with district awards, I was honored to be listed on the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Team.  Currently, I am playing with Texas Elite Austin 17U Gold and looking forward to upcoming tournaments around the country.  I also participate in the summer workouts that my school basketball program offers.  I can’t wait to see what my junior year has in store.

When I’m not playing sports, I spend most of my time taking care of my horse.  I am a member of the Texas High School Rodeo Association and participate in barrel racing.  I also love to spend time outdoors and do activities like hiking, running, fishing, and seeing live music.

I am committed to playing basketball at the next level, and I’m excited to be able to play sports while getting a college degree in Pre-Med to pursue a career in integrated medicine.
