As a strong competitor in academic activities, I am also a strong competitor in athletics. This is my 12th year of playing soccer. I compete whether on the soccer field or in the classroom striving to be in the top 10%. I am fortunate to be in a high competitive program where everyone is pushing student-athletes to be the best that we can be and I have amazing coaches to help me get there. I am looking for a college that will not just fit me athletically but academically as well. I do not just have athletic capability of playing at the higher level but I also have the competitive mindset to do what is needed on your team as I can play a variety of soccer position left, right and center forward. I am devoted to my team and will always put them first because they are not just my teammates they are also my family. And as the saying goes family comes first. While being a multi-sport athlete, I know that I will add a positive impact on your team. Plus with my out-going personality, I will quickly make friends adding more chemistry to the group. ~Holly Harwood

Holly is one of the teams fiercest competitors. She is a multiple sport phenom and extremely athletic. Holly is very social, gets along well with teammates and is a good student. When Holly is in the game, her speed on attack is an instant threat. Holly excels at taking on players to goal or setting-up teammates with her service. Holly also excels on striking a ball for power and distance when she switches play. Another positive attribute Holly possesses is the ability to finish with her head (team leader in this category). She is very physical and aggressive and is versatile in playing multiple positions. I would ike to help Holly herself become more dominant by practicing ball juggling, running with the ball (alternating feet) and finishing (alternating feet). Hols is an impact player and very exciting to watch when she's on the field. If she continues to maximize her effort, keep strong academics and improve herself over the summer, she will position herself to have a bright future. ~Brandon Rodriguez Sting Austin ENRL/SA United U15 Coach

Holly’s physical attributes in regards to soccer are outstanding. She is strong in the tackle and in the air, powerful on the ball and fast over 5 yards or 40 yards. Holly has a strong right foot, which she often unleashes from 25-30 yards out. Holly has very good ball control and will turn defenders inside out. She can deliver a dangerous cross and poses a threat when running at the opposition from the flanks or from a more central role. Holly is a very outgoing, bubbly character. She is constantly encouraging her teammates, whether she is on the field or on the sidelines. As a freshman this passed year, she was not deterred to try new things and did not look out of place playing with players 3 years her elder. I would highly recommend that Holly play at the collegiate level. She certainly possesses many of the attributes to be a successful student athlete. ~Coach Brinton Nute Head Girls Soccer Coach - WIMBERLEY ISD

Holly is very athletic and works hard in the weight room, track, court, or even field. She is very competitive in all she does including school work. Coach-able and determined are a few words to describe how Harwood is to have on your team. Holly has a heavy arm and can bring some heat when she swings away on a ball. Social is another great way to describe Harwood, as she has many friends and gets along with teammates easily. My goal with Holly this upcoming volleyball season is to see her be our kill leader. She is willing to put in extra time and efforts to correct what needs to be fixed.  ~Coach Stephanie Barthels Head Volleyball Coach - WIMBERLEY ISD
