I would love to play at the D1 collegiate level. I've been playing basketball for 5 years. My love for the game started while I watched my sister play when I was in 6th grade and she was a freshman. The reason I've continued to play and work hard is because the experience is like none other. While playing for my junior high team, I received the defensive MVP award from my coach. I feel that that is one of my greatest strengths on the court.
I currently attend Orem High School as a Junior and am on Varsity Girl's basketball team. The Varsity team consists of 10 girls and I am one the starting 5. I am willing to work hard and learn new skills. During the off season, I worked with Real Athlete to increase my ball handling skills, shooting percentage and form.
Academics are a high priority to me, I work hard and put forth my best in the classroom as well as on the court. For the past few years, I have consistently been on the High Honor Roll. I work hard to complete assignments prior to when they're due. As far as college majors go, I'm looking into possibly going into health sciences and coaching. I'm currently looking at these two specifically because I like the idea of helping others and constantly staying in motion.
