Emma Carter '18 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in playing basketball throughout my college career, while majoring in business management.  I want to finish my senior year of high school with a GPA of 4.0 or higher.  I strive to do this because a higher GPA will allow me to have more college opportunities.  I work hard to be successful with my academics, as well as my athletics.   I find the same benefit from working hard in school, as I do when I work hard to be the best team member I can be.   Being apart of a basketball team has always been an incredible experience for me.  I enjoy the chemistry that develops on the court between me and my teammates.  I love seeing improvement in my teammates, and I find as much enjoyment in throwing an assist to a teammate, as I do when I make my own shots.  The amount of games I win in my high school or collegiate experience may not affect my profession, but the experience of an outstanding basketball season with my team, and getting a great education, is what I strive for as a student athlete.
