Hello,
I currently in my junior in high school and am ready to tackle whatever is in my future with the same level of success or greater! What sets me apart from other players and people is by far my work ethic. My physical stature (6ft tall) is one of strength and speed, I am very strong on the court, but my work ethic is what puts me on the top from all my peers! My coaches always say I bring a different level of energy on the floor that is inspiring and contagious. If it is open gyms, walk throughs, practices, and games, no matter what, I always give my best efforts in anything I do. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I have had that since I began middle school all the way through to my current high school education. You could ask coaches and teachers alike, I am a very conscientious hard worker in the classroom and in all I do. Off the basketball court, I have played volleyball, and competed in track and field. Athletics has defined so much of my character and made me appreciate not only drive and desire, but what athletics brings to me that is so useful in life outside of the sports arena!
I represent my high school as the president of the Black Student Union (BSU) and have made the gold honor roll every semester in high school. Basketball has helped me with my leadership outside of being on a team, but in the classroom and in my community! I am a huge advocate for social justice and try to do my part in every community I am a part of.
I would like to major in Business and Hospitality in college, then go on after my basketball and college experience to culinary school. My hobbies include baking and cooking, and experiencing life in different places. I believe your college would be a good fit for me and I know I would be a great fit representing you.
