Katy Darnell '19 Recruiting Profile

I would like to play basketball in college while I receive my education .  I have always been able to keep a balance between my sports and my academics . I am a hard worker . All of my coaches have been very complimentary of my work ethic . I come early , and I stay late at all practices . When the coaches tell me what I need to work on , I go to the gym on the weekends to sharpen my skills . I am very "coachable ".

I am an unselfish player . I enjoy being part of a team . I love helping and encouraging my teammates .  I believe that other athletes respect me for my hustle , and my hard work . I do my best on and off the court to remain humble and I am grateful the opportunity to play sports at this level . I would be a great addition to your squad .
