“Perseverance plus passion plus pride equals winning in the game of life.” Dick Vitale.  This is how I want to live my life and why sports are so important to me.  Basketball  has shown me that I’m stronger than I ever thought.  It has taught  me  disipline, hard work, and allowed me to find worth and balance.  I take nothing for granted and I only want to continue to pursue my love for basketball because I know it is molding me into the person I strive to be.  With  sports comes injuries so I have seen the inside of a physical therapist office.  Watching what they do and how they help not only athletes but all types of injuries has inspired me to do the same.  I am looking for a college that has a strong science program so I can pursue my passion for orthopedics.  I am not sure if it will be in the PT department or orthopedic Dr.  but I know that is the direction I am going towards.
