I am a guard from Hartford, WI, and will graduate in the class of 2021. I am a guard on the varsity basketball team as of my sophomore year for Hartford Union High School which is a division 1 school. For my senior year, I am stepping into bigger leadership roles. I was selected to be a part of the Leadership Team under our new coach, to help grow the program and make it stronger. I am excited to help make a positive impact on the program.
I was a shooting guard in my junior year on varsity. I was a starting point guard for the JV1 basketball team during my freshman year. In addition to playing with the JV1 team, I also practiced with the varsity team during the second half of the season and had the opportunity to play in a varsity conference game.
I am a three-sport varsity athlete competing in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I have a 3.96 GPA and my education is very important to me. My goal is to continue working towards graduating from high school with a High Honors Diploma. At the end of my freshman year, I was selected to receive the Milwaukee Brewers Student Achiever Best Academic Effort award. During my sophomore and junior seasons of varsity volleyball, I earned the WVCA Individual All-Academic Award, which consisted of earning a 3.5 GPA or higher during the volleyball seasons. As a sophomore, I was one of ten student-athletes from our school chosen to attend the WIAA Sportsmanship Summit and one of four student-athletes to attend the Leadership Conference of Growing Our Student-Athlete Leaders held by Kevin Atlas. During my junior year, I was selected as a member of the National Honor Society.
In addition to my academics, I am a member of the H-Club which is an organization of varsity athletes giving back to the community of Hartford. Through H-Club I have been able to participate in the Salvation Army bell ringing at a local grocery store, collect toys for Christmas for Toys for Tots, and volunteer at a local elementary school funfair. For my senior year, I was selected for an officer position, where I will be coordinating the events we participate in to give back to the community.
I am open to a variety of sizes of schools and also different geographic regions. I would most definitely like to play during my college career. I am a team player and would like to make an impact on a college-level team. I am a leader on the court and I believe in the importance of communication on and off the court. I always give it my all and play as hard as I can in practice and games.
